The Unwashed Masses Disgust Tom Brady

Tom Brady made about $18-million last year and married a supermodel that makes around twice that.  Somehow, I don’t think he’s overly concerned with landscaping costs at his Boston condominium.  That isn’t stopping Boston authorities from forcing a man to pay $4-thousand in restitution after he stole two flower planters from behind the residence.  Hey, guess how he’s going to get $4-thousand. 

Dennis Paiva was caught on surveillance footage stealing planters worth $8-thousand, which he later sold for $450.  Now, he says he has to panhandle and scour the streets for trash he can sell to make enough money to pay off his fines for the crime.  Maybe he wouldn’t be so destitute if he learned how much things are worth.  Those planters were 95-percent off.  You can’t even find that good of a deal at Wal-Mart on Black Friday.  Maybe you can get a 95-percent discount on a lap dance from the stripper who is 9-months pregnant and has swine flu.  Maybe. 

Paiva says he had no idea the planters or the condo belonged to Tom Brady.  I would hope not, or the $450 price tag would be even more ridiculous.  People in Boston would buy a snotty tissue if you told them it was used by Brady.  How do you think I can afford to live in such luxury? 

Paiva is also a convicted bank robber, which is not at all surprising.  I mean, it’s not often you meet someone who was caught trying to rob a bank.  But, if you get caught on camera stealing flower planters, chances are you wouldn’t be a very successful bank robber. 

Brady hasn’t made any comments about this incident and a Patriots spokesperson said he doubted Tom even knew about “Paiva’s situation”.  I’m not sure if that means he doesn’t even know the planters were stolen or if he doesn’t know that the guy responsible is having to panhandle to pay the restitution.  I’d like to think that he’s not even aware the theft even happened.  I’d actually like to think that he’s completely unaware there are homeless people in America.  The Patriots spokesperson probably went on to say, ‘Tom steps over bums all the time and has never looked on in the eye.  He drives with his windows up and the radio loud so he never has to risk one coming up to his window.  He isn’t aware of people who aren’t millionaires.  He won’t even talk to his rookie teammates.’
