Kevin Garnett is Inconsiderate of Innocence

Thursday, November 5th, 2009 | Dylan

The Boston Celtics predictably upended the Minnesota Timberwolves last night to remain unbeaten, but it wasn’t all smiles and high fives after the game.  As you can see from this clip from the local Boston television broadcast of the game, some people were very upset and may well be headed for a time-out if they keep using that kind of language.  I’m talking to you Kevin Maurice Garnett.

Reporter Greg Dickerson is understandably taken aback by the brash behavior of this so-called superstar.  I mean really, who has ever heard of a professional athlete who uses such language.  You don’t get to that level without some help from Jesus and he’s not a fan of the f-bomb.  Garnett, in particular, has always come across as an advocate for a non-swearing society.  I think he even started a movement called ‘Stop Your Mother F*ckin’ Swearing Today Bitches’.

I can only imagine the backlash being felt across the greater Boston area today as innocent minded basketball fans try to cope with a life sullied by foul language.  In case you’ve never been to the area, let me tell you that Boston has always been a pure city, filled with good, God-fearing people.  This will be the biggest scandal there since Jackie Kennedy re-married.

I can hear their sweet voices now: ‘what the fack did that fackin’ goy just say?  Holy fack’n shit!’  Stay strong brave souls, we can get through this storm together.
