Obviously Conan’s days left at NBC are very limited.  So it appears that until he’s actually chased off, his new favorite game is “cost NBC money.”  Or maybe he’s just pretending to do that, which wouldn’t be nearly as funny.  You decide.  Is that really Mine-That-Bird wearing mink watching the NFL?  <outsidetheboxscore>

Since Mark McGwire has been received with open arms by the Cardinal hordes, the question has been posed: Would Slammin’ Sammy be welcomed in Chicago?  I think the answer lies is in the fact that McGwire never quit on his team.  That sort of thing doesn’t fly so well you see.  <midwestsportsfan>

Sean Salisbury is suing the Gawker network because Deadspin reported that he took a picture of his junk and sent it to a co-worker, a story he said was a blatant lie.  Except that yesterday he admitted that that little incident might have actually certainly happened.  Someone should have mentioned to Mr. Salisbury that truth is the number one defense against libel charges.  And you now see the extent of everything I learned in 6 years of college.  <deadspin>
